2021 Condrieu 'La Combe de Malleval', Stephane Ogier

From the winery of renowned Ampuis-based Stephane Ogier, this textbook Condrieu shows inviting fresh peach and blanched almond on the nose and palate, with a touch of lemon verbena. Full-bodied but not fat, with great energy. The alcohol is low, and there's good acidity, no overt oaking, good line and length. The perfect balance, and very classic.
