2019 Pinot Nero 'Vom Kalk', Alto Adige DOC, Weingut Niedrist

Bright ruby red. The nose has great spicy components, ripe cranberry, rich cherry, a hint of white pepper, generous resin, fragrant and delicately savoury. Very elegant and polished on the palate, opens with velvety tannins and noble savouriness in the undertone, shows grip, comes back in many layers, long, deep and elegant.
