2020 Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Tenuta la Novella

The wine is a focused, high-altitude Sangiovese with purity and finesse. Aromas of wild cherry, dried herbs, and cedar lead into a vibrant palate of redcurrant and sour plum. Taut acidity and fine-grained tannins give structure and lift. Subtle oak brings notes of spice and tobacco without overshadowing the fruit. Long and mineral on the finish, it will evolve beautifully over the next 7–8 years.
