During the gold rush of 1865–1900, thousands of Chinese people came to New Zealand—especially to the Otago region. To this day, evidence of their presence remains.

Born from the partnership between acclaimed winemaker Grant Taylor and visionary entrepreneur Jing Song, Crown Range Cellar is nothing short of exceptional at winemaking. The star of the range, China Girl, Central Otago Pinot Noir, pays homage to these courageous Chinese prospectors.

Moved by passion and a desire to innovate, Jing partners with her favourite winemakers and searches for the best land to bring her vision to life and produce special New Zealand wines.

Jing's goal is to offer wines that reflect a sense of place, honour her roots, and build a legacy.
