Collection: Yann Chave

The estate of Yann Chave was founded as a farm by his parents in the 1970’s, initially selling grapes and other fruit to co-ops, before creating their own winery at the end of that decade. Yann himself joined in the mid-90’s, building from there to what the Domaine is now; an organic winery in the heart of Crozes-Hermitage.

Certified organic since 2007, they recently added 2 hectares of St Joseph,
but the core of the estate is still the 18ha of Crozes and 1.2 ha in historic Hermitage itself.

 Located in Mercurol, Yann is now joined by his children, Daphné and Gauthier, who between them have travelled extensively to gain experience at some extraordinary estates globally, including Sylvain Pataille, Reyneke, Alvaro Palacios, Riccitelli and Torbreck; bringing those skills to bear when returning to work on the family estate.

The team here at Ealing Wine Cellars has been charmed by the authentic elegance of these wines - all of which are well balanced with a lush purity to the fruit, which is something of a trademark for us at EWC.
