Kick off your celebrations with Thienot Brut NV, one of our favourite Champagnes. This family-owned house is renowned for its luxury, quality, and modern elegance. Crafted from a blend of three grape varieties sourced from Champagne’s finest vineyards, this bubbly aged for five years, developing rich biscuit and buttery aromas.
It’s perfect with oysters, seafood delights, marinated shellfish, or Parmesan puff pastry, or savoured on its own as a festive aperitif.
St Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière, Domaine Grachet-Duchemin, Burgundy
A creamy, mineral-rich Chardonnay, this wine brings bold, expressive flavours to your festive table. It pairs beautifully with roast turkey, smoked salmon, or your favourite Christmas starters.
Marion Duchemin, a native of Maranges in southern Burgundy, now runs the family vineyards alongside her husband, Arnaud. Once a local schoolteacher, Marion returned to the vine when her father retired, continuing the family legacy.
Maranges is emerging as a fascinating appellation, known for characterful wines that balance elegance, finesse, and value. Grachet-Duchemin works across 10 hectares in several Côtes de Beaune appellations, including Santenay, Maranges, Haute Côtes de Beaune, and St Aubin. Vines range in age from 5 to 40 years.
Their sustainable, lutte raisonnée approach ensures care in both the vineyard and the winery. Whites are fermented in used oak barrels and aged for 12 months (with 25% new oak for added texture), while reds are destemmed, fermented in stainless steel, and aged in oak barrels (25% new) for a year.
Barolo Giachini, Carlo Revello, Piemonte
End your festive feast with a showstopper: Barolo Giachini from Carlo Revello & Figli, a family-run winery in La Morra,Piedmonte. This Nebbiolo is bold, complex, and full of depth, a delight for wine lovers and collectors alike. Made from a 70 year old.single vineyard in the heart of La Morra, the wine exudes of floral notes and bold red cherries. We love the power, complexity and long finish. Tannins are present but balanced.
Under the guidance of Erik Revello, the estate focuses on minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard’s natural character to shine. The single-vineyard Giachini is a perfect example of Barolo elegance which is ideal for celebrating life’s special moments.
Terenzuola Extra Virgin Olive Oil
No festive bundle is complete without a touch of Tuscany. Terenzuola Extra Virgin Olive Oil is organic, peppery, and versatile, elevating everything from fresh salads to roasted vegetables.
The vineyards of Terenzuola straddle the border between Liguria and Tuscany where the Giuliani family has tended them since the 1930s.
It was in 1993 that the estate took its current shape under the watchful eye of Ivan. His focus has been to live in harmony with the land, to do so he has gradually converted all his vineyards to organic viticulture with full certification from the 2020 vintage. This gourmet oil is the perfect finishing touch for any holiday dish.
