2023 Hautes Cotes de Beaune 'Cuvee Emile', Domaine Grachet-Duchemin

Made from fruit grown in plots from around the winery of Grachet-Duchemin in Sampigny-les-Maranges, and a result of spontaneous fermentation using wild indigenous yeasts. 

Bright wild strawberry notes on the nose, with a juicy red fruit palate which immediately transported us to a sunny, bright Burgundy summer's day. Ripe fruit is balanced by supple and silky tannins. A fresh, lively Burgundy, drinking beautifully now that will mature nicely for a few years.
