“Our winemakers treat the vine as one part of a healthy ecosystem many working with organic and biodynamic methods. They consider themselves farmers; custodians of the land. It is back breaking work that only makes sense when you have a deep sense of purpose. The wines are true to their grape, their place and their vintage – they are alive, vibrant and exciting.”

Winemakers FAQs

How do you choose the winemakers you work with?

We select winemakers who focus on quality, authenticity and sustainable farming. Most come from small estates or family-run vineyards with a strong sense of place and craft.

Do you taste every wine before listing it?

Yes. Every bottle is chosen through tasting, so we can be confident it reflects the character of the producer and offers great value at its price point.

Are your winemakers organic or biodynamic?

Many of the producers we work with follow organic or low-intervention practices, even if they don’t carry formal certification. We focus on producers who prioritise healthy vineyards and minimal manipulation.

Do you work directly with the winemakers?

Where possible, yes. We build direct relationships or work through trusted importers who have close ties to each estate. This helps us secure allocations of limited wines and discover exciting new producers.

Will the list of featured winemakers change over time?

Absolutely. As vintages change and new estates emerge, we regularly update our selection to keep the range fresh, seasonal and interesting.

Can I learn more about a specific winemaker?

Yes. Each section includes background details, tasting notes and the story behind the estate. If you want deeper insight or food pairing ideas, feel free to get in touch.

Do you host tastings with these winemakers?

We occasionally run tasting events, producer evenings and themed nights where you can meet the winemakers or explore their wines. Follow us on social media for updates.

Are the wines from these producers available year-round?

Some are, but many come in limited quantities depending on the vintage. Popular bottles may sell out quickly, so we recommend checking back or joining our mailing list for restock updates.

Can you source additional wines from a featured producer?

Often, yes. If you’re looking for a specific cuvée, vintage or larger volume, we can request it through our supplier networks.

Do you feature only European producers?

While Europe forms the core of our range, we also feature outstanding winemakers from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the USA and South America as availability allows.
